NEW USSF UNIFORMS: YES, US Soccer just authorized new referee uniforms. NO, you do NOT need to go out today and spend $500 on new jerseys!

From the US Soccer memo: "In the future, OSI will only sell the new uniforms, but the old striping pattern is still USSF-approved and acceptable to wear during games. In youth and adult amateur games, it is also acceptable for the crew to wear a combination of new and old uniforms. Referees are encouraged to purchase the new uniform when replacing their old version as the updated stripe pattern will be grandfathered into becoming the official referee uniforms of U.S. Soccer. Referees will have two options on the type of sock they will wear during competitions. The new sock is embroidered with 'U.S. Soccer Referee' on the foot of the sock, but referees are also permitted to wear the three white-stripe sock or the black sock with the old US Soccer Referee Department logo, as both are still USSF-approved."

Registration for the post-season tournaments is now active! If you have not signed onto this web page before and do not have a login and password you will need to do so first. Go to the "Sign Up" tab. Complete the information and submit.  If you happen to know your 16 digit USSF number, you will have instant access, if not, you will need to wait until you get a reply email notifying you that you have been activiated. You do NOT need a USSF number to sign up,  If you are a new referee you will not receive your USSF number until this summer! If you are a new referee or have never registered on this site before, you will need to wait for your instructor to verify that you took the referee course and test and are a certified referee.  Once your instructor does this you will receive an email from this site informing you that you have access. Once you have access or if you have previously been activated, login and go to "Members Area", then to "Your Tournament" and click on "New Registration."  You can register for any or all of the post-season tournaments.  If you have a child or children playing or if you are a coach, then you must pick ONE and only ONE team to be afffiliated with.  This is very important.  If there is a shortage of refs for any tournament, teams may be dropped from the tournament.  Teams without affiliated refs will be in danger of being dropped. You can also just choose a club to be affiliated with if you do not have a child playing or are not coaching, or you can choose to be totally unaffiliated.

This year MYSA invested a considerable number of hours creating an online system to run the League.  As a result or the first time the entire season schedule, game results and fields are available 7 x 24 for all to view.  As part of the system MYSA has give the rights to area Assignors to assign games online as well.  This system allows traveling referees and area referees to notify the Assignors about their availability.

We have several areas that are participating in the online system for referee game assignments. To date these are:

• Belgrade
• Livingston
• Billings
• Bigfork
• Butte
